The Best Mysteries & Thrillers of September

Mt2

Here's a selection from our Best Mysteries & Thrillers of September. There are lots of recognizable names this month. Enjoy!

Mt1

Razor Girl by Carl Hiaasen - Hiassen brings ore Florida hijinks to his new novel. He employs a cast of zany characters, including the Razor Girl herself: a highway scammer who employs a straight razor to dazzle her victims (since this is a family website, I will refrain from a full description of how she seduces her victims; but you can Google it).

Mt2

Home by Harlan Coben - The latest Myron Bolitar novel does not disappoint. Ten years after two wealthy brothers are kidnapped, one of them is discovered by Win Lockwood, who reaches out to Myron to help with the case. If you haven't read a Harlen Coben book recently, this is the one to pick up.

Mt3

The Kept Woman by Karin Slaughter - Will Trent is back. When an ex-detective is found dead at a construction site, Will is pulled into a murderous triangle that may include his ex-wife Angie. The site belongs to Marcus Rippy, Atlanta's basketball hero, and he's protected by his money, fame, and a phalynx of lawyers. Oh, and Will's lover, Dr. Sara Linton, just started working with him at the Georgie Bureau of Investigation.
