2016 Children's Book Award Winners



MarketStCropThe American Library Association's children's book awards announcement may not sound that exciting, but believe me, it is. 

There is no list of finalists or nominees, or even a set number of honor books for each award, and these are the oldest and most respected of them all. 

Who will win the Caldecott Medal for best illustrated book?  Or the Newbery Medal for the most outstanding contribution to children's literature?  This morning, we found out...
